Formed in 1984, the LCA comprises over 100 specialist contractors committed to providing quality craftsmanship for their clients.

Its membership comprises sole traders, partnerships and incorporated bodies, who are required to take full responsibility for the purchase and application of lead sheet under their control.

Members are graded according to the quality and complexity of work inspected during an annual vetting programme, and grades are published annually in the Directory of Specialist Leadwork Contractors, available from LCA.
